Beware of Clipboard Malware Scam
[Your Ad Here]
What Is This Scam?
Scammers are tricking users with a fake "verification" process that tells them to press Windows + R and paste something from their clipboard. The clipboard gets hijacked with a hidden PowerShell script that installs malware silently.
How It Works
An image or post instructs users to open Run (Win + R), paste copied text, and press Enter. But that clipboard content is a dangerous PowerShell script that executes harmful code without the user realizing it.
Precautions
- Never run unknown commands from Run or CMD.
- Check clipboard contents before pasting anything.
- Avoid clicking on suspicious images or links in Telegram, forums, or unknown sites.
